A large healthcare organization decided to upgrade their Human Resource environment currently running on PeopleSoft HCM version 9 to version 9.2. Due to their large environment and implementation of several PeopleSoft HCM modules with customizations, they needed a team of eight consultants to strategically augment their existing FTE staff in order to successfully meet their deliverables. The team of consultants would be responsible for configuring objects to support requested business functionality according to development standards.
The high profile nature and importance of the project warranted an exception to the normal vendor sourcing process and a direct relationship was established between TransTech and the project sponsors. TransTech had a successful track record with this particular team having provided PeopleSoft consultants to the team since 2009.
A team of eight PeopleSoft consultants was on-boarded to support the upgrade effort. The team of consultants was responsible for creating all required Solution Delivery Methodology (SDM) documentation including: requirements documentation; unit test cases; code and construction documents; and code walk through documentation. They were accountable for load and performance testing as well as user acceptance testing and resolution of application defects. They will maintain and expand current functionality on an ongoing basis.
Our team was also tasked with incorporating best practices based on the client’s requirements and feedback.
